She completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Konya. She graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry in 1997. In 1997, she started to work as a PhD student at Selcuk University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Periodontology. In 2002, she completed his doctorate with his thesis titled "Effects of Smoking on Gingival Gutter Fluid IL-6 and TNF-α Levels in Patients with Periodontitis and Alkaline Phosphatase Enzyme Activity". In 2004, she was appointed to Kırıkkale University Faculty of Dentistry as a faculty member. She became Associate Professor in 2007 and Professor in 2013. She still continues to serve as a faculty member in the same department. She has two children.
